Why did we create SyPhone?
The CCP’s surveillance of mobile phones is pervasive, threatening the security of Falun Dafa practitioners’ daily communications. Recently, CCP hackers have also infiltrated the networks of U.S. phone manufacturers and telecom carriers. It has been reported that U.S. telecom companies such as AT&T and Verizon have been breached by Chinese hackers, and even President Trump’s phone was compromised. We therefore need a secure means of communication. SyPhone is designed from the ground up by Falun Dafa practitioners, with security as the focus of every technical detail. When using SyPhone, calls cannot be eavesdropped on, impersonated, or intercepted. No call records are left behind, providing everyone with a clean and secure calling experience.
Why isn’t the SYPhone available for public sale?
At this stage, the SYPhone has been developed specifically to meet the needs and usage scenarios of practitioners, and it is not intended to be promoted to non-practitioners.
Why does SyPhone charge a fee?
To ensure stable service and continuous improvement, we only charge for the purchase of the phone itself — there are no monthly fees and no contracts. This fee supports the ongoing operation and service upgrades of the platform, ensuring every user enjoys stable and secure communication quality.
Where can SyPhone be used?
SyPhone can be used anywhere with a Wi-Fi network.
Is there a risk when using public Wi-Fi (e.g. at train stations, hotels, or airports)?
SyPhone communications use end-to-end encryption and operate through self-managed servers. Even on untrusted networks, this prevents communication content from being intercepted or monitored.
Who can I call with SyPhone?
You can call anyone who has a SyPhone. You cannot use SyPhone to call regular mobile phone numbers or landline users.
Why can’t I use iPhone earphones with SyPhone?
SyPhone currently does not support iPhone earphones. iPhone earphones do not use the standard 3.5mm analog audio format — their connectors and protocols are Apple-proprietary and therefore incompatible. We recommend using any standard 3.5mm Android-compatible earphones available on the market.
If the phone falls into the wrong hands, could someone disassemble the hardware to analyze or crack the chips and communication mechanisms?
The chips used in SyPhone have anti-tamper protection — even if disassembled, core secrets will not be exposed. The security level is equivalent to commercial smartphones and chip-based credit cards.
If a phone is lost or misused, can SyPhone’s operations team remotely disable the phone number or suspend service?
All SyPhone services are self-managed, giving us control at the account, device, and service levels. If a device is lost or misused, it can be disabled or suspended according to our management policies to minimize further risk.
Why is SyPhone unavailable in China?
Due to considerations related to user safety, information security, and the prevention of service misuse, SyPhone is currently not available in Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macau. Any future changes to this policy will be announced separately.
Which headsets are compatible with our Syphone?
Syphone support 3.5 mm Android-standard headsets. The following models have been tested and are recommended:
* Taiwan: Hawk HIE100, available from major online retailers.
* Other regions: MORMOQUE EP05, available on Amazon.
What does the red asterisk (*) next to a caller’s name mean?

A red asterisk (*) indicates that the caller ID name was entered by the caller and has not been verified. Please proceed with caution and verify its authenticity. You can also view the number in “Recent Calls” and set a custom name for it. |
Can I use a commercially available Faraday bag to prevent my phone from being eavesdropped on?
No. A Faraday bag cannot effectively prevent your phone from being eavesdropped on. It works by using electromagnetic shielding to temporarily block your phone’s wireless communications, such as cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS signals. However, it cannot prevent the phone itself from continuing to listen or record audio. Once the phone reconnects to a network, any previously recorded data may still be uploaded.
